Matt Law serves as Manager, Safety Strategy for W.W. Grainger, Inc., developing comprehensive environmental health, safety, and business solutions with internal and external partners to mitigate risk to people, property, and the environment. He is a Certified Safety Professional, a Registered Environmental Health Specialist, and holds a Master of Public Health degree from West Virginia University. Matt is also a Doctor of Public Health Student at Walden University. Matt also serves as an Environmental Health Officer, Lieutenant, in the United States Navy Reserve. He currently resides in Bartow, Florida with his wife, Stacy, and his daughters, Evelyn and Cordelia.
Emily DeGerome is a Certified Safety Professional and holds a Master of Engineering Management degree, a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Sciences and Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Health. She currently works as a Senior Safety Professional.

Ms. Belmore’s educational background includes concentrations in construction management and environmental engineering. As a Project Engineer, she was responsible for drawing reviews, estimating pre-construction drawings, scheduling timelines and customer relations for Bovis Lend Lease, General Contractors. From 2000-2023 she was the VP of Encotech, Inc., Carbon Service & Equipment Co. Division. Starting in 2024 she partnered with Tetrasolv Filtration. As Vice President at Tetrasolv, her responsibilities include engineering, sales and project management of environmental remediation and dewatering systems, products, and associated services.
A Business Development Manager with Alpha-Omega Training and Compliance, Inc. (AOTC), which is a Florida based, Veteran-owned small business. AOTC specializes in Occupational Health & Safety Training and Compliance, Emergency Response, and Environmental Consulting Services. John has 30 years plus experience in spill response planning and cleanup mitigation. He also was a Industrial firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), for 10 years.
John has been an active member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) Central Florida Chapter since 2012 and has had leadership roles and is currently the logistics chair for the chapter. John has also been active with the Alliance for Central Florida Safety (ACFS) since 2014 holding many roles and offices.
Michelle Margaret Mary Demarest, CSP, is an accomplished and excellence-driven leader with a varied, highly engaged professional and volunteer career spanning more than 25 years. Her experience includes leading Safety, Health & Environmental teams for Disney, Miller Brewing Company, and Frito-Lay, Inc., She is an active member and current Chair for the Texas Tech University, Industrial Advisory Board and active member of the Alliance for Central Florida Safety. As a perpetual volunteer, Michelle’s experience is varied including, speaking engagements with The American Red Cross, International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions (IAAPA), Amusement Industry Manufacturers and Suppliers International (AIMS), American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE), and the ASSE/China Occupational Safety & Health Professionals Meeting in Shanghai, China and many others. Her passion for the SH&E field is demonstrated by her commitment to the organizations that support SH&E professionals and outreach, including volunteer leadership positions within ASSE, ACFS, She believes in stepping in when things need to get done and has a keen drive for perfection in all that she does. Her volunteer efforts include being the Chair of the Alliance for Central Florida Safety, the President of the West Texas Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Membership Chair for the Central Florida Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers, the President of three separate Home Owners Associations and a Director of the Golden Retriever Rescue. As the Chair of the Alliance for Central Florida Safety, Michelle has been an integral part of organizing their annual Safety Day and working with the Children’s Safety Village to help educate children on the potential safety hazards within their home and community. Having a passion for safety and a strong love of dogs has led her to rescue and rehome over 25 golden retrievers while utilize her swimming pool to rehabilitate several large dogs with mobility issues. Michelle hails from Lubbock, Texas and has an Associate of Science degree in Pre-Engineering, a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master of Business Administration degree in Global Management.
